How invite links work

What is an invite link?

A simply.clothing invite link is a unique link your friend can share with you to add you as a connection — no phone number or email address required.

What happens when I tap one?

If you have simply.clothing installed: the app opens and confirms the connection automatically.

If you don't have the app yet: you'll land on a page showing who invited you. Install the app, then tap the invite link again from the original message to connect.

I tapped a link but nothing happened

Try these steps:

1. Make sure simply.clothing is installed on your iPhone.
2. Check that your iPhone is running iOS 17 or later.
3. Long-press the link and choose "Open in simply.clothing" if prompted.
4. Restart the app and tap the link again.
5. Ask your friend to send a fresh invite link.

My invite link expired

Invite links are valid for 30 days. Each person can have one active invite link at a time — it refreshes automatically after it's used or expires.

Ask your friend to send you a new invite link.

My invite link says it's already been used

Each invite link can only be used once. Ask your friend to send you a new one.

I just installed the app — what now?

Tap the invite link again from the original message (iMessage, WhatsApp, etc.). iOS doesn't automatically pass the invite link to a freshly installed app, so you need to tap it again to complete the connection.

I'm using Android or a non-iPhone device

simply.clothing is currently iPhone-only and requires iOS 17 or later. Invite links won't work on Android or other devices.

Privacy note

Invite links don't share your phone number, email address, or location. Tapping a link only lets the person who sent it add you as a connection in simply.clothing.
